Sometimes I wonder about whether we all see the same, hear the same, visualize the same ... But after thinking about it for some time the answer always is - we do not.

Before the darkness embraces it all.

Hepatica

Hepatica in sunset. The forests are covered by blue carpets these days. Time to lay down and enjoy them.

Ice in colors

There are still some frosty nights left before summer takes over completely. The morning ice offers amazing color game for those who bother getting out of bed to experience it. Always with a certain risk that passersby maybe think the man lying there in the ditch is dead or complete crazy. But it's worth it.

Ice tribe

Every year they fight for their own existence and their landmarks are slowly taken over by others. The ice tribe are only visible for those who dare look for them, and right now they dissapear to hide in the water for the summer season.

River springtime

As a kind of erosion the water slowly digs its way through the ice to finally take over the river again. A fascinating part of the springtime.

 

Rivertime

After a long period with silence from my shutter, I'm ready to roll again. With my feet firmly planted in a pair of rubber boots in a frozen river, freezing my hands off, struggling to find my pictures in the complete amazing scenery, I suddenly got back the motivation and the joy of photographing. What a wonderful feeling!
